Nursery / Preschool About

First Steps Twerton Children’s Centre has a 60 place nursery which is open from 8:00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday all year round (excluding Christmas shutdown, staff training days & bank holidays).

The Children's Centre is fully accessible and we pride ourselves in being an inclusive setting.

The setting has been graded as 'GOOD' by Ofsted who commented that...

'Staff have an effective key-person system in place, which helps to ensure children form secure attachments and develop positive relationships.  As a result, children are confident and happy in their play.'

Our Twerton Nursery prides itself in offering varied learning opportunities, such as Forest Foxes and Rugby Tots, which allows our children to grow and learn in a nurturing environment. It is important to us that families feel involved in their child's learning and so we offer Parent sessions and Bedtime Story events.
