Qualified Nursery Practitioner

Job title:  Qualified Nursery Practitioner Post   21 hours, all year around

Salary: £16,347 - £17,305 p.a.  (£8.36 - £8.85 per hour) pro rata 

Location: Based at our Twerton Early Years Education Setting

First Steps (Bath) is a charity and social enterprise, we are relentless in our mission to raise aspirations for children, families and communities through our Early Years Centres.  We are passionate about our staff, we believe they are key to enabling children to develop, learn in a safe environment and to build a positive relationship with parents.

We have a vacancy for qualified nursery nurse in our Twerton Early Years Education Setting (NVQ level 3 in early years and childcare or equivalent).  As a member of the Early Years team you will play a full part in the planning, organising and delivery of activities and creating learning experiences designed to improve outcomes for pre-school children.  You will work in partnership with parents, carers and partner organisations.

Post-qualifying experience with children and families and knowledge of local services for them would be an advantage.  These posts are subject to enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS) checks.
