Salary: : £14,672 £14.47 per hour

Hours: 26 hours per week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Term Time Only

The Vacancy

Lead Practitioner

A bit about the role: You will plan, organise, and deliver high quality, specialist Early Education and Care for a group of children 2 to 5 with special educational and or complex health needs.

It’s truly heartwarming to be part of the Early Years team, where our passion lies in nurturing young minds and fostering their growth.

You will need:

  • Qualified to at least NVQ level 3 in early years and childcare or equivalent.  
  • Maths and English GCSE grades A to C / 4 to 9. 
  • Level 3 SENCO qualification (desirable)  
  • 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Course  
  • Current Food Hygiene certificate (desirable)  
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • An ability to safeguard and protect children.
  • To be positive, adaptable, and friendly

About the nursery

BOP early years specialist service is based on the site of Broadlands School, Keynsham.

We are a friendly team of experienced early years staff who specialise caring for and supporting the development of children under five with special educational needs and disabilities.
